Karin, the creative inspiration behind KBD is an independent designer and passionate multi-dimensional artist, with a natural talent for design. She began at a very early age by decorating, inventing, and changing things whenever she could. Karin is also an established painter, poet, and vocal artist. Karin's talents lead her to jewelry first and on to painting. Driven by the need of not being able to find the right thing to wear, KBD began to design and produce women's clothing and it grows from there. KBD strives to make casual apparel and accessories more artful with a sophisticated edge. The images and symbols used in KBD's designs are meant to represent hope in ourselves and the future, personal strength, fantasy, love, romance, and dreams.
