Belt Conveyors

Not only is conveyer belt technology used in every day applications but it is also essential in industrial warehousing applications. Conveyer belts meet the diverse needs of material handling due to its wide functionality. Belts are capable of moving light, heavy and loose material, packages and pallets at a fast pace, indoors and outdoors. The conveyer belt is a pulley system powered by a drive pulley and an idler pulley covered by a continuous loop of material. Depending on usage, the belt is often a two layer system. The belt cover is usually made of rubber and features a tensile mesh layer beneath called the carcass. This system allows for steeply pitched angles, speed and vertical applications. The conveyer belt is cost effective by cutting labor costs and allowing high volume movement of material/product.
